A great week is coming up!

On April 1 I'll be celebrating my 17th anniversary. It's hard to believe that Paul has been with me this long and hasn't killed me yet. (Thank goodness they won't allow gays to marry...after all, I don't want to make my straight friends who have been married two or three times look bad...)

On April 2 - 4 we're going to go to the shelter and work for the weekend. Just found out that the computer we donated is in danger of crapping out so we're going to pick up a new tower so that they'll be able to have a fully functional computer.

What could be more fun than this week? Come on, I dare you to tell me!

1. Many, many congratulations

Whatever you do, if you do it with someone you love, is fun. Michael and I had a blast last weekend turning a huge compost pile so I have personal experience. We just passed our 15th anniversary and BOTH of us forgot it until a week after the fact. How's that for fun!

3. Why we chose April 1...

When Paul and I got together so many people kept saying that 6 months from now we'd both be looking for other people. We chose April 1st as our wedding date so that every year that passed would make those people look like bigger fools.
