I saw Ben Kweller and Death Cab for Cutie last night.

Ben Kweller swung out in style, by which I mean he was stoned. He was wearing a Iggy and the Stooges "Raw Power" shirt, and did a slew of his stuff, mostly the good stuff from Sha Sha. He also did an impromptu cover of I Can't Get No Satisfaction which was nifty.

Death Cab was fucking fantastic. They picked a damn near perfect setlist, playing stuff from Transatlanticism, The Photo Album, and We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes.

It was the rock.

That's pretty cool. He looks like he's twelve years old.

4. Hee...he does, doesn't he...

He used to be with a local band called Radish. My little bro went on the road with them for a bit. Had a blast but it didn't pay squat so he quit. I can remember being up on top of the roof of my parents' house putting up xmas lights with Radish blaring out of the tape player about 5 years ago. :)
