The Haunting (1963) on TCM tonight at 8:30 (CST)

But, this is one of the best scary movies ever, mostly for what you don't see :scared:

2. I was a little kid when I saw this movie

I was 5 in 1963. When the old woman floats by with he hands up and all gnarled.. I am surprised I did not crap myself.

The scary stuff is mostly due to the sounds they use and your imagination filling in the gaps. There is one instance of a door expanding as "something" pushes on it from the other side...
