1. Yeah, me too.
I was just barely asleep when I was.

But earlier, when I tried to watch TV, I fell asleep in the chair, like a nursing home patient falls asleep in their oatmeal.

3. can anybody tell me
what 8 hours of continuous sleep might be like? I don't think I've had that since I was 10 years old.

If can string together 2-3 hours I call it good. I either wake up on my own or Mr. Yankeepants or one of our dogs or cats wakes me up. aaaarrgh!

4. People in my life ask me why I sometimes work 18 hours straight.
Answer -- when I finally do shut down the computer and me and the cat retire to the couch, falling asleep and staying asleep are not a problem.
