1. Thanks, Missy, for putting this up - this was taken Halloween Eve,

outside of Renningers' Farmers Market, near Lyons Station, PA. Our dog, Cory, (AKA Peanut) is the cancer survivor who recently had an abcessed tooth extracted and has been battling a very bad bacterial infection for a long time (note the lump in front of his left eye).
He just ended a course of antibiotic injections - they found the bacteria was resistant to nearly every drug they tested but this and 2 others...He is down to a mere 96 pounds, but seems to feel much better than he has all year since his cancer surgery in January.

I asked Missy to post this pic of Meryl, Peanut and I to thank all of you who responded to posts about our little pup's health problems...

(Missy says her Max is about as big as Peanut's head.)
