Halloween is over, so I expect the Country to go into full Christmas explosion by dinner tonight

Already saw christmas displays in Sears last week, so now that Halloween is over, I expect everyone and their dog to have christmas displays up by the time I get home from work today.

Radio stations should be 24/7 Christmas songs before the week is over.

1. Hell, they've had Christmas stuff in the stores and the mail for weeks now.

2. I went to Wally World for Halloween candy at 4 yesterday...

and under their "Halloween Candy" sign they had an entire aisle of Christmas candy.

3. They have already put up the lights in one of our local parks that has

offers train rides on a miniature train. I don't know if they have turned them on yet or if they are still setting up, but it won't be long.

4. I love Halloween but I've grown to loathe Xmas.

I wish I could relocate to some non-Xmas place for two months.

5. A number of the stores in my area (central Maryland)

have had Christmas decorations out for several weeks now. We need to get a new tree this year and have actually been glad that the season started earlier than usual because it's allowing us to determine exactly what style we want. As a matter of fact, my husband said last night that he planned to vote tomorrow and then go down to Homestead Gardens, a very nice nursery, garden shop and gift store near us, to get me a Christmas ornament in the shape of a turnip.(Long boring story omitted here).

6. I saw some turkey stickers on people's windows when I was out canvassing

today. No X-mas decorations, but wow, it was almost cold enough!
