Why hasn't there been anything in the news about today's election?

Has there been some kind of blackout? I didn't hear about it until this morning.

What are we electing?

On the other hand, I suppose this is good news in that the media weren't saturated with negative ads, news reports of corporate purchased and biased poll results, soundbites, the (oh so liberal) media constantly harping about how the republicans will have a landslide win, and other shit.

Thank God that this election it's been quiet and civil, like it should be.
