I just want to say that I think South Park did a great job animating Cthulhu.

The most detailed descriptions of Cthulhu appear in the short story "The Call of Cthulhu", and are based on the statues of the creature. One, constructed by an artist after a series of baleful dreams, is said to have "yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature.... A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque scaly body with rudimentary wings." Another, recovered by police from a raid on a murderous cult, "represented a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind." I actually have some audio cassettes somewhere of some Lovecraft. Nothing like having it read by a talented voice.

4. I'm always reminded of HP Lovecraft, the band

'67. San Francisco. They totally embody the San Francisco sound of that year. I met a wonderful girl at Golden Gate Park that year at one of their concerts. I often think of her in the fall when in southern California the nights are still warm and the breeze has a smoky taste to it. Like her blonde hair on the beach in front of the bonfire.

7. I'll have to check that episode out.

The design reminds me a lot of the "HorrorClix" Cthulhu game figure that came out a few years ago. They were blowing these out on ebay a while back.
