3. When I was a kid and still catching childhood colds
one of my nostrils clogged up for months! It really sucked.

4. Yes, now that you mention it
But it's not always the same one, it's just one. If one is clear, the other insists on being either clogged or semi-clogged. What could explain that?

I just thought I had contrarian nostrils. Turns out they are complete comformists!

7. If they both function efficiently and enjoyably, or conversely they are each defective,

then I suppose you may chose both.

Admittedly, I had not anticipated this complication.

6. Out of work for years now.
I blame Obama.

At night I flip to the right, flip to the left. Just like an independent.

Always and forever more.

14. Only when I'm in bed. If I lay on my right side, my right nostril clogs within a few minutes.
If I'm on my left side, ditto.

I can feel it changing, and it's a strange sensation.

If I for some reason breathe through my mouth, both nostrils clog.

Sometimes I hate my nose, I fucking swear to Dog.

15. Yes...deviated septum. I find those "Breathe Right" strips work very well
and I sleep much better when wearing one...I use the generic versions - work just as well, cost much less.

I agree Breathe Right strips really work. On occasion I use Afrin and geez it's great to be able to breathe out of both nostrils..... really, it feels great.

18. My nose was broken in a fight in high school and I never got it fixed.
Right nose hole works like a champ. Left one, not so much.

I figure this reduced my drug intake during the 80s by 50%.

19. Got mine fixed two years ago.
Deviated septum and chronic sinusitis warranted surgery. Haven't had a sinus infection since then and can actually smell my dinner!
