But he still has a good voice and sings well.

Most artists nowadays have earbud monitors, it makes it easier to get a personal mix to listen to what's going on. HIs guitar louder, or bass, drums mix whatever.

9. He did a sold out show in a stadium here early this year - he was great!

He's a fine guitarist,and has writen a few good songs. He is not as old as some, he just doesn't color his hair or wear a wig...he is all of 60 years old!!!
He played with Frampton's Camel, Humble Pie, and many other groups since, in cluding Ring Starr's All Starr Band as well as many recordings and tours on his own.
