1. I never really gave it a shot

The times I did see an episode I laughed but I haven't got to the point in the series where I seen an episode twice like I often do watching reruns of sitcoms. I love Curb and when I learned he was the creator I tried giving Seinfeld a chance. While I laugh at scenes involving Jerry, Costanza, and Elaine... I can't sit through a scene involving Kramer. As much as I would like to, I end up turning it to something else. I'm dying to watch classic episodes though such as "The Contest" (which I have yet to see).

I haven't watched enough to be bored with it but with what I've seen, it is hilarious.

2. The Soup Nazi bits were funny.

Beyond that it was kinda Meh.

3. I've seen every episode at least twice - maybe more.

Even though a lot of the humor is dated it still hasn't lost what made it great in the first place. I'm also a huge, huge fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm - and I've actually been compared to Larry David on more than one occasion.

4. The "Merv Griffin" episode, for me, was the one that really lived up to the hype

Maybe because I grew up in a household where Merv was a daily ritual. Second favorite would have to be "Bubble Boy" or maybe "The Cheever Letters." But yeah, I've seen them all, and definitely more than twice.

the guy playing Mr. Bookman (I looked him up - Phillip Baker Hall) - HOW did he do all that with a serious face? It is obvious Jerry is trying hard not to laugh out loud. :rofl:

Philip Baker Hall is one of those character actors who you see all the time but never take note of. However, his portrayal of Mr. Bookman, the library cop in an episode of "Seinfeld" (1990) has to go down as one of the all time comedy classics. His dead pan delivery about overdue library books, made this episode of "Seinfeld" (1990) one of their best ever.

11. Never funny.

My mom kept trying to get me to watch it including once when I was working on a project for my job! The small amount of it I took in involuntarily was sufficient to dismiss it as "not funny".

My favorite episodes are with Jackie Chiles and the Maestro, the Soup Nazi was pretty funny. I loved George and Jerry's parents.

15. i was lukewarm on it...

watched a lot of reruns with my roommate in college because there was nothing else on...

i will say the minor or one-time characters were much funnier than the main cast
