1. I feel good about the Lions

After all these years, they seem to be on the right track. I still remember the 1968 playoff game when Detroit lost to Dallas 5-0 and I've despised the Cowboys ever since.

When the ref threw the flag down I thought they were gonna recall that play - instead they ruled in favor of the Jets.

You're getting better every week, and sooner or later those close losses will become wins. Plus, Buffalo has had the schedule from Hell. You guys could wind up with an improving team and a high draft pick at the same time, like the Saints did when they got Bush, or the Titans with Vince Young.

5. Even when the Cowboys are losing, they are still the team everyone can't help but talk about.

We have a one and seven record, we are insignificant, we lose to Green Bay in a statement game proving the Packers are one of the elite teams in the NFL, and what does everyone talk about the next day? The Cowboys.

Our grapes are bitter this morning, but at least they are not sour.

Just run the damn ball on 3rd down with 2 minutes to go.

Then they get the ball back with only 1:10 instead of 1:52.

The players seem ready to win, but the coaches need to catch up.
