8. this was what i had in the early 80s


only it was lime green, and a hand-me-down from a cousin who was 10 years older. my dad modified it for me though because my arms were short. i had huge ape hanger handle bars that tipped backward instead of straight up.

before that i vaguely remember the toddler big wheel the tricycle and the wagon all being played with in the basement. where we lived was on the top of an extremely steep hill with no sidewalks. i wasn't allowed to be on wheels outdoors until i was old enough to be responsible.

Which was handed down from my parents to my older brother, to my sister, then finally me. It had almost 300,000 miles on it and was still going strong when I took it over. I had it for two years.
