I made popcorn soup and I liked it
I took a can of cream of chicken soup and a can of cream corn and mixed them together. I added about half a soup can of water, added a good bit of pepper and heated that up. Then I poured a bowl of soup and added three fistfuls of buttered popcorn to it.

It was great!

Now, off to get a second helping.... :)

2. Did you think that up all by yourself
or did you see the recipe somewhere? Doesn't the popcorn get all soggy?

6. It's a "me" version of something I saw on a teevee show
Popcorn Soup was used as a plot device on an episode of Castle. After seeing the ep, the idea of popcorn soup intrigued me so I did a Google search for it. Turns out there's about a billion recipes for popcorn soup and pretty much all of them incorporate the popcorn as a topping. The most common recipes are primarily corn chowder with popcorn. Well, I already a knew cheater's way to make corn chowder: 1 can creme of chicken soup/1 can cream of corn. So I just topped it off with some buttered popcorn and seasonings and yum-o-rama!

:)
