Got another recording job...

The woman who I recorded 135 CD's for, of her 70's albums, has me recording some cassettes to CD, and her husband found his stack of 78's.

I did a rough count of how many records there were, my Mom asked me if I'll have enough blank CD's.
I told Mom the whole stack (in a shopping bag and is pretty heavy,) would fit on 3 CD's, maybe less.

My Mom, who grew up playing 78's on old record players, did a :wow: take.

1. It would really blow her mind if you were transferring to an iPod!!

It still blows mine!!

2. I bought my Mom a smaller .mp3 player.

When she's outside working in the garden or such.

When I showed her how to rip CD's and then put the rips into the .mp3 player, she saw me ripping one CD after another, "Got any more you want on the player, Mom?"

Finally it's nearly full, (2G player,) and she sees how many songs are listed.
