If the dude has a common name, and I only have the e-mail address, how do I search for the person?

When I enter it in the search box, all I get are Bing hits from the internet.

3. Then the e-mail isn't on Facebook. Maybe the person registered under a different e-mail?

4. Suggestion: Try searching for a name of someone the person you are looking for

is related to or friends with. Meaning- if you are looking for "John Smith", try searching for his sister "Mary Smith Kallianoitianstianopoulis". I've been located not directly, but via relatives or friends-in-common.
