ooooo.mmmmm.ggggggggg what a day!!
thanks to all who commented on my resume. i think it turned out just right.

so, first- the interview. so, when you are greeted with a giant hug, followed by a new notebook and taking notes, saying, you need to firm up your price structure, you need to apply for wbe (women's business esomething, somethign.), do you know xyzresource, we had a great intern doing our graphic design, we were spoiled...
yeah, you could work on this account, yeah, you know adobe, you can do lots of things we need. i could go on. i can't believe it.

36th floor on madison avenue. what a view. right in the real loop.
we talk next week. but i just sent her some stuff that she asked for.
i was even dressed just right. that one i can't believe.

i can't believe it.

so, here is the rest of the oooommmmggggg. some little shit tried to snatch my Iphone on the way home. and don't you know that i was on him like a shot. he had timed the snatch to the door, but i beat it out after him. as he tried to get down the stairs, i yelled at a couple of bystanders to stop him, that he had my phone. they checked him, and i had him by hood. he swung around, and i snatched back my phone!!
but i had left my portfolio on the train and immediately return to the train, which was sitting, but with the doors closed. i pounded on the window, i yelled- I AM GETTING BACK ON THIS TRAIN!! BANG! BANG! BANG BANG!!
finally a guy from the car i was on- which car was i on?- pulled the chord and let me back on. my portfolio was saved. my phone was saved. and i had a patron. a.m.a.z.i.n.g!

8. Hooray Hooray!
The great news about your interview(s) is wonderful...and I predict your quick response and successful Don't Mess With Me Ya Little Punk action will give a bit of a glow for many years. I still remember with fondness my completely reflexive actions a thousand years ago when a groper followed me on the subway at 42nd Street, pressed up (eeeyeeeuuuh!) behind me. I stopped, grabbed a hanging strap with one hand, and whacked him with my open left hand, all in one fluid action. I smacked him so hard he was propelled out of the car, out of the still open door. The only disappointment was that I looked around the car for a little appreciation, and nobody dared look at me. Not a glimmer of recognition. Oh well.
I love New York. (No, really.)

9. Mopinko
This day could be a money maker for you - good ideas for a Meg Ryan movie. Seriously - might try to keep a diary. Glad all turned out well for you.

12. Wow, so this is the kind of stuff I miss out on not living in the big city??
haha ha. that's pretty incredible. Great story!

I'd never make it in the big city. If someone stole my crappy little phone I'm so easy going I'd just let them have it and that would be my exciting story.
