Book - The Year of Magical Thinking - half way through, not getting it...
I kept hearing about how great this book was. I'm about half way through and I'm not getting it. Am I missing something?

1. Well, it's a subjective thing. Grief can take some very "crazy" forms
without, of course, being crazy at all. I think many people who have experienced the stunning places the mind can go when in the depths of grief and shock really appreciate her candor, talent and willingness to talk about her experience. I liked it a great deal and found it interesting and useful on several levels.

2. Does the last half hit an amazing stride?
I hope so because so far while she has made a couple of astute observations, it's not what I expected at all.
