Du'ers, the nicest thing just happened!
There’s a student here at work whom I’ve been helping a lot with her computer class assignments; excel, ppt, etc. Today she called me into the hall and gave me a present and a card! I was overwhelmed. That was so sweet of her. The present was a framed paper that told about my name; what it means, personality (of someone with the name), life opportunities, etc.

I had gone to work with a sour attitude about how (My Employer) does jack for us part-timers.

I’d say this is my HP saying, you’re where you need to be. :-)

1. My dear raccoon...
What a lovely thing for her to do!

You have obviously made a huge difference to her. You are indeed right where you need to be, and how wonderful that she recognized that!

Congrats!

:D

2. It's amazing how the simple expression of recognition
can change someone's day :-). That was really sweet of her.

3. Doing something kind or nice for someone
sure makes life better! 'What goes around, comes around' fortunately works for good stuff, too. :hi:

4. I believe in angels on Earth & both of you are one.
Computer whizzes generally don't have the patience to help those who are learning, so she appreciated the valuable help you gave her. It was showing you her appreciation at a time when you most needed it that made it extra special.

:)
