Which religion is it most difficult to date/marry into?

I tried dating a Catholic girl (I'm a non-denominational liberal Christian) earlier this year and it was turbulent to say the least, largely because of her very Catholic, very strict family. Have you tried dating someone of a different faith and encountered alot of trouble for it? I'm guessing that since the strictest religions seem to be Catholicism, Islam, and Mormonism, adherants to those faiths are the most difficult to get romantically involved with if you don't share their beliefs. What have your experiences been in this area?

as an atheist, let's just say I bet most any religion could be difficult - it's the tolerance of the adherents that make the real difference

6. he (and his mother) were nut jobs, the dad an alcoholic.

I wasn't interested in being saved. They were um, persistent - and he got really weird - stalking, a little violent. The usual with nut jobs. It wasn't necessarily the religion that was his problem but it was the catalyst.

4. For me it would be any religion.

I figured out pretty early that a serious relationship for me would have to be with a fellow atheist/nonbeliever. Luckily my husband fits the bill.

because I never date sanctimonious guys. Therefore, they can be any religion they want.

15. In a strange coincidence, I've dated all of those and suggest

you pick out individuals who aren't very good examples of that religion. I didn't run into any problems that permananently damaged my will to live..........
