Once again a TV show thinks giving away plastic surgery is a fun thing to do
http://www.eonline.com/on/shows/bridalplasty/index.html

I was reading a link at IMDB that took me to eonline and this is what they were advertising (see above link).

Concept - take 8 'ugly ducklings' who are engaged to be married and make them do embarrassing things to win plastic surgery. The winner will receive a slew of plastic surgery and her husband-to-be won't see the transformation until their wedding day when he pulls away the veil.

WHAT A CROCK OF CRAP!!!

First, these women are engaged - do you think perhaps their husbands weren't so friking shallow and loved these women as they are???!!! And nothing like giving away prizes that can actually kill you. There are inherent risks to surgery. And finally, once again TV telling us that we are not perfect as we are but should endure oodles of plastic surgery to make ourselves into what we are not.

Nutz I tell you

1. I don't see any way in which this could go *terribly* wrong.
:eyes:

(Yeah, that was :sarcasm:.)

2. Are men really attracted to ducks?
Many women are getting those big duck mouths and I cannot figure out why.

3. Not really.
I mean where it's natural, it's okay. I mean Joey Lauren Adams is kind of hot. Where it's surgical, it always looks funny. Always.

4. Are you talking about the 'trout pouts'
Some of the most beautiful women in hollywood ruined their looks to get the 'trout pout'. I have no clue what is so big about that look, I mean perhaps for a few months you have this big puffy lips but then they die out and you have trout pout, which is ugly as hell.

People like Meg Ryan, Nicole Kidman, Lindsay Lohan and a host of other hollywood a-lister's ruined their looks by getting the trout pout.

5. Yes. And then their mouths don't really move...
yeah I like to watch Real Housewives and when I see these trout faces I can't help but wonder what *they* see when they look in the mirror.

And Meg Ryan seriously messed herself up. :(

I don't really have a problem with plastic surgery itself. I just can't figure out why people go for the trout face!
