Kathryn A. Carros of New Mexico and Binghamton Kathryn A. Carros, 47, of Binghamton, passed away at home in New Mexico, Monday, March 22, 2004. She is survived by her loving family; one son, Adrian Floyd Schumacher, Calif.; her parents, George and Lillian Carros, Binghamton; one brother, Jay Carros, Binghamton; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kathryn graduated from S.V. High School in 1973, She worked as an intern for WAAL radio and was known as Desiree on air. She left Binghamton for a position as a D.J. and weather reporter with KSFX in Roswell, NM. The family will welcome friends at Savage Funeral Home, 338-344 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, Friday, March 26, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Michael Meagher and Pastor Dann Travis officiating. Donations may be made in Kathryn's memory to HCH 1217 1st Street NW, PO Box 25445, Albuquerque, NM 87125-0445. At Kathy's request her cremated remains will be scattered in Seattle.
