He just became a general a few weeks ago so he has to go around and prove he is not afraid of the powers that be. Sabre rattling - I think it is called.

He fired mortars at South Korea. He let the world know they are enriching uranium. Hell, I would not be shocked if I were told the missle launch seen off the coast of Catalina last week was from a North Korean sub.

I don't think the North Koreans are serious about causing trouble. They just need to manufacture an event and some hostilities so they can convince their people that the new dear leader is a military genius who can do more than fashion hand grenades out of pine cones like his grandfather did.
