Footprints lead to Ocean Shores burglary suspect

Ocean Shores Police tracked down a burglary suspect Tuesday night by following his footprints in the snow.

Police told KXRO the man admitted removing items from the home earlier in the day and was returning to take more when the smoke detector sounded.

Deputy Chief Russ Fitts says officers found a 34-year-old Hoquiam man hiding under the home's deck. He was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail.

Don't the cops in Ocean Shores have anything better to do than look backwards to the past? They should be looking forward to the future! Now I suppose they're going to waste more time and resources having a trial and finding the guy guilty and putting him in jail for his so-called crime.
