Just trying to cheer you up, dear. We all feel this way sometimes. Hell, my family hardly tolerates me sometimes, although they are all far away from me.

Just hold your head up and keep looking for new friends. You might want to ask your one friend if there is a problem, and what that is---ask for honesty. It won't matter if she really doesn't like you now that she knows too much. And it may give you help in what you are doing wrong, if you are doing anything wrong. It may not be you though. You have no idea how many people there are out here who have few or no friends, and it isn't anything they do wrong. Me, I am just too pessimistic for people to want to be around. They avoid me. But at least I realize this and could work on it. If I wanted to.

I love the people here in the lounge, they have so much empathy. We will all be here for you.

21. You can get through this time in your life.

Often when people live together they clash in ways they would never know being just friends who DON'T live together. It doesn't have to be all about you, but then only you know if have things you regret about it. You can get through that too, and forgive yourself and give yourself a chance to move on.

I have felt that way myself at times in my life, and I have somewhat felt alienated from my family but that was my doing. I don't like their selfish 'gimme gimme' greedy attitude and can never ask them for anything because I do not want anything to do with them. Not ALL my family, but my family is small.

Out of the billions of people on this planet today and through eternity, there isn't a one of us who isn't 100% human.

Holidays are hard for me, too. If I had no family left to care about I would prefer to skim through the holidays without really acknowledging them. But that's because it makes me sad. I try to pamper myself with lots of down-time and rest during this time. I feel less stressed when I am rested.

Hang on and don't beat yourself up. The lowest hardest times of our lives are the periods of time when we are growing stronger.
