10. December 4th...Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto

Qing Li, principal 2nd violin with the BSO is our soloist. It's a gorgeous piece, and I think your daughter will enjoy it very much! Holst's Planets and Joan Tower's Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman are also on the program. :-)

11. I have a friend who planned to have dinner at 1pm...

She was up at 3 to get the turkey in the oven. Oy! We had dinner at 7:30. :-)

12. my Gm used to get up at 6 to have dinner around noon, I think

my mom wanted no part of that, it was rare to eat before 7/8.


We usually come in right on time at 5:30-6. Many years we had everything on the table just as the guests started to arrive. My husband's timeline usually saved the day!
