'Twin Peaks' star: 'Psych reunion is a gift'

Twin Peaks star Sheryl Lee has admitted that the recent reunion of the show's cast on USA's Psych was "a gift".

A forthcoming episode of the comedy-drama will pay tribute to the cult series, which ran on ABC from 1990 to 1991.

The actress told Collider: "It was such an incredible gift that James Roday and everyone that's a part of Psych gave us, because some of us hadn't seen each other in years and years."

She continued: "It's hard to believe that 20 years has gone by, but to be able to see these people who have such a special place in my heart was really wonderful."

However, Lee admitted that rumors of an official Twin Peaks reunion were still premature.
