Duets for men
I need to find a suitable duet for a performance (not for me). Preferably tenors, but no really high notes. Or a song that could be sung as a duet. His teacher suggested James Taylor type songs. Or from a musical, but not too fast.
I beg of the lounge, post suggestions.

1. Poncho and Lefty springs to mind.

Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson turned that into a pretty good duet. And it's got that Taylor-y, singer-songwriter thing.

2. Thanks!
Great song, but I forgot to mention it's for 2 teenage boys.

They're big fans of both Nick Cave and Tom Waits, and if they had voices similar to them, they'd definitely pick songs by them, but I refuse to let them smoke 3 packs a day.

4. Easy Lover?
The Phil Collins song?
Or is there another song by that title?
Because as a duet, that may come off weird sounding given the context.

I actually think Say, Say, Say would fit their voices better than Ebony and Ivory. You've got me thinking, thanks.

7. I forgot it was a duet with Philip Bailey
There's no way they can sing notes that high! but still a great song.

10. I knew the lounge wouldn't let me down
Y'all know so much.

I love these suggestions. Thanks to you, I'm thinking a Cat Stevens song would be perfect. Wild World or Peace train, I'll suggest both to them.
