Air America Radio web stream Silence---they have to do it...
Edited on Wed Mar-31-04 01:24 PM by xultar
They need time to give the local stations for news, weather and traffic, commercials & station identification.

they arent' supposed to be broadcasting commercials on the web.

On web streams of radio they usually broadcast some silent breaks
unless they choose to put out what is going on in the studio.

Air America is too young to broadcast studio happenings...i'm sure they will soon.

2. I don't think that no commercials is correct. I always get ads when I
listen to regular broadcasting on the web. Am I missing your point? If so, please explain.

5. National commercials can be aired, but local ads cannot.
That's my understanding at any rate. :-)

3. No they don't have to..
Or rather they do, but most stations don't do DEAD AIR, they play elevator music.

6. Too bad they can't fill it in, say with
Bits and pieces of the Daily show or something.

Would love to have Jon deliver the news on AA.
