What Are Your Essential Hot Dog Accompaniments
Edited on Wed Mar-31-04 05:13 PM by cryingshame
What do YOU put on your dogs?

My favorite is mustard and relish on a toasted bun with the dog itself topped with a bit more mustard (none of that poupon, either)and sauerkraut.

For poker games, please have some chili and raw onions! :)

Unless I'm going for the Chicago style hot dog, when I put whatever comes on one of those as standard fare. :silly:

14. All the way
is how you say it here in NC. That means, "with everything:" relish, onions, slaw, chili, mustard, ketchup, and anything else the vendor has. LOL!

On those spicy sausages I like mustard and sauerkraut.

26. nope
white hots are white hot dogs. They are made with white pork meat (or poultry?). hot sauce is ground beef chili. It's a Rochester thing. Rochester also has "Rochester wings" which are different from Buffalo wings. Just to be special.

they are supposed to be healthier than traditional hot dogs. Traditional hot dogs are called red hots in Rochester.

Good mustard, not that bright yellow French's crap.

Sauerkraut, but only on a bratwurst or Polish sausage, and just a little.
