1. I remember a lot of these
And I can say that I still think some of them were awful.

Then again, some were and still are very cool.

5. Oh please. How can one man afford that many customized cars? Why, he'd have to be a millionaire!
Oh dear.... a thought has just a occurred to me.

6. I hated the Batman Begins: The Dark Knight Batmobile.
It looked like something designed by the Department of Defense.

The Batmobile should be sleek and sexy as well as menacing.

8. It was designed for the DOD
Edited on Sat Jan-08-11 11:59 AM by sarge43
Fox said the Army contracted Wayne Industries to make a rough terrain vehicle to use as a bridge builder. Run the thing at Warp 9, jump the gap, pulling cables across. They couldn't get the cable mechanism to work, so it was sent to archives.

9. I obviously wasn't paying attention.
But, yeah, I hate it.

10. With a handful of exceptions, DOD isn't noted for its sense of aesthetic.
But credit where credit is due, for what it was it looked right .

11. I loved it. It was appropriately badass.
It is my second-favorite design after the Barris Batmobile.

I hope that when the third movie comes out, Bats gets another cool set of wheels.
