A package of three spare record player needles.
I know, purists call them "styluses."
So when the needle on my turntable wears out, I have a new one for it.
I was just surprised to find them at Shopko.

that by the year 2020, the top-selling physical medium for music will be the LP. Not that they will sell that many more, but the vast majority of sales will be digital and other formats will wither.

2. Well, for all the promises made |

when CD's and DVD's were introduced, they are not a lasting medium. They eventually wear out and they are not scratch resistant. They did promise the opposite of both, I do remember.
People tended to be more careful with their vinyl because we all knew the ramifications of failing to do so.

For a while there, in the nineties, when I needed a needle I had to scrounge in the second hand stores for a whole nother record player. Cause no one had them except Radio Shack and if RS didn't have any in stock one was just out of luck.
