1. cats are good to have around if you have a rattler problem
they are fast and will corner a snake and piss it off so it will buzz and you can find it. They rarely get bit.

AND (this is sort of important) of all our domestic animals, cats are the least affected by rattlesnake venom.

Lazy-ass cats! They'll piss off a rattler just so they don't have to eat the mouse they just killed :evilgrin:
