What are you reading DU? I just finished "Prisoner of Tehran: a memoir by Marina Nemat.

A wrenching story about a girl's time in prison. very good. very hard to read.

I'm just about to start reading Elizabeth George's "What Came Before He Shot Her".

1. I'm reading a collection of Welsh fairy tales

and some ghost stories by Edith Nesbit.

2. the George book is very difficult- I wasn't able to read it

Better luck to you. Although it was a great concept, and explained the situation, I was still mad at George for the previous book.

3. One of her previous books I wasn't able to finish. Subject matter hit too close to home.

I'm sure this one will be okay. I love her stuff though I don't have nearly the detailed mind she has.

4. I have been on a real Urban Fantasy kick lately

I have to weed out the 'romances' but have found some decent ones. Currently I'm into the Otherworld series by Kelly Armstrong

I just love using my iTouch as a book reader too, I have several dozen books on me at all times and it's nothing to whip it out in line and get a few pages done.

6. I just finished "Small Acts of Resistance" yesterday

it's by Steve Crawshaw and John Jackson, and it is an excellent little book. Every DUer should read it. I'm reading a novel called "The Seeker" by Sudhir Kakar right now, about a British woman who goes to live in Gandhi's ashram. It's ok, so far.
