Call Me Wesley leaves me the sweetest notes (Part VI).

Okay. I guess "unusual" would be a more apt description than "sweetest."

Backstory: For an illustration project, I made a C6 envelope based on a template I made myself, but it was crooked and I needed CMW's assistance to make it right. What follows is the envelope (and note) I found on my desk the next morning.

I have to go to Geneva for three days next week, and then to Beijing/Hong Kong/Shanghai for 10 days in March. We've been having a discussion for a week now about how Ginger's quality of life may decline during those business travels.

Not 15 minutes ago, swear to whoever, CMW said to me as a "sort of" question: "You think I'm a lousy dad. Don't you?"

In a non-committal way, I replied: "It doesn't really matter what _I_ think. I won't be here. Will I?"

About nine years ago, when The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger was still very much a kitten, CMW and I were in bed having some "private time," when all at once, it was as though Ginger* dropped directly from the ceiling to right on top of us. Scared us both to death, but Ginger had this look on his face like, "Oh, hey! Whatta you guys doin'?" :rofl:
