Seattle DUers - any good places to park?
I'm heading there for the weekend and I'm looking for a nice location to park my car (to sleep in, mind you)

Any good places near the sound? Any KOA type campsites?

Any help would be appreciated :)

1. KOA Seattle
There is one KOA south of Seattle. Not too far if you have a car. Check the KOA website for the address.

2. This may be worth considering. You don't need to go in.

Edit: Ooop! Just remembered this place -

Not a KOA, it's a state park, but a nice one. Closer to Oly than Seattle. I don't know of any campgrounds in Seattle itself. It might be pretty full this time of year, so maybe calling ahead isn't a bad idea.

I'll be heading up tomorrow but I'll get there late, so I don't want to go looking for things in an unfamiliar place.

Thanks for the info.

OnEdit: Wal-Mart lots!! haha...good point
