My husband started his new job today!
It's a contract position, lasting until the end of May...but
it's at his old rate, which is pretty good because we've become
so used to living on less.

I've been paying ALL the bills since 2004, and I feel like
slacking off now, but I know I can't.

I am SO happy for my husband, he has been having a tough time,
working "freelance" all these years and barely paying old
credit card debt and computer upkeep. Sometimes chipping in
for the odd dinner out. Last night he kept repeating,
"I've got to go to work in the morning!"

This will be the BEST valentine's day I can make for him!

I hope it's a sign that Michigan is limping back to health.

1. Hope it turns into a permanent position
sometimes (oftentimes) these contract positions do. Good luck to your husband (and you).

2. Even with the 4 months, it should allow us to pay for our oldest daughter's...
first year at college, and still put a little away.

Thanks for your kind words!

3. Yay!
How cool... How awesome...How needed for you. I hope it brings you a little bit of piece of mind. I'll try and catch a hold of you today. It's been totally craptastic here of late.
