Then I started watching Glee and heard some of the newer generation of songs and find I actually like some of them. There are several by Lady Gaga that I find myself enjoying as well as songs by other artists who I had heard of but never listened to. Regardless of what people think of Glee I'm grateful for reawakening my musical choices.

Yes, a lot of the stuff coming out and gaining popularity is crap, but there are many gems, too.

a year ago my daughter (14 now) skipped past "The Lady is a Tramp" (Frank Sinatra version) on my Ipod, although I said, wait, that's a good song. A week later she showed me the same song on Glee and was saying how good it was!
