IMO, the show's over. Not that I'm a big fan of Charlie Sheen. But the show has officially jumped the shark by adding Ashton Kutcher. The producers think they can maintain the dynamic by changing a central character. It reminds me of NBC writing out Valerie Harper and changing the show from Valerie to Valerie's Family. They made the husband and kids the center of attention, added some wacky neighbors for comic relief (the Pooles), and expected to maintain ratings. It was a completely different show and the audience dwindled. Valerie Harper was the reason the audience was drawn to the show in the first place. While the ensemble in Two And A Half Men works well, some of the best lines are written for Sheen. That's gone. Kutcher is no substitute. Different, but not necessarily better. I give the show this upcoming season to say farewell to its viewers.
