For those who sort of remember me..If you gave my eulogy

Well.

That here lived a true gentleman, one who loved the ladies and knew how to treat them gently. That here lived a man who knew what he thought, and how to say it wisely...

And one who loved taking his picture and sharing it with us. They were always good pictures too...

He also loved butterflies and everything that they represented...

He was a good, good man, one that I was proud to call friend...

That's what I'd say...

17. The Lounge has asked me to do the eulogy for Sky Masterson, since I sort of remember him, I think,

and eulogies are best done by people who can sort of remember the person being eulogized, which is I guess probably why the Lounge chose me to do Sky Masterson's eulogy. So now I am going to sort of remember Sky Masterson, as the Lounge has asked me to do, and for this I will rely partly on what I can sort of remember, filling in a gap here and there with the results from the Lounge polls I posted last week to help fill in the gaps of what I sort of remember

A lot of people have been wondering What happened to Sky Masterson? I've searched DU, and there's been a lot of speculation about this. Several threads in the 911 Forum are not yet locked, and you can find out there that he was abducted by ET or maybe he was a CIA sock puppet. There's also a not-yet-locked thread in Religion/Theology that says he was raptured. I think DU rules prevent me from quoting any of speculation in the locked GD threads

Anyway, he is gone, and we miss him, because as everyone knows, Sky Masterson was -- well, the best way to say it is: Sky Masterson. That really says it all, doesn't it? I mean, what more is there to say, other than all the other stuff I can sort of remember. This brings to mind my all-time favorite DU saying: Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket? I sent Sky a PM earlier today, saying I planned to use that in my eulogy, and if he objected, he should PM me, and since I haven't heard back, I think it is safe to say that Sky introduced us all to that saying, and when we all sober up we'll probably remember that. Let me add that we ordered the beer, based on the poll question What was Sky's favorite beer? and the winning answer was Sky would want us to get as much beer as possible with whatever money we have in the bereavement fund so that's what we did. Also a word about the floral arrangements: we did another poll What was Sky's favorite flower? and the winning answer was: Dunno. Just go with Thai Sticks or Sensemilla
