Need DU help - I keep doulbe or triple posting

I know I'm only hitting the "post message" button once, but it continues to double-post every 3-4 times I post. Any suggestions?

(I'm using a Toshiba Satellite laptop with a trackpad with two buttons below it, rather than a mouse)

Or use the tab key to move to the post button and then hit enter instead of trying to click.

That require extra posts and just say you meant to do that. (Other than that I got nothing.)

I don't leave the cursor on the post message place very long. I remove it fast.

This technique has made more difference than anything else I've tried.
