Question about Real Player
Is the new version OK? I would love to get Air America (and lots of other stuff) live but fear a repeat of past problems with Real Player. Three times we had to lobotomize the PC after Real Player was on for a bit and I just don't wanna do it again.

Have they got the bugs out?

Have an older Dell and DSL service, Windows 98 operating system but I generally run a mozilla browser (get less hack attempts with it and less annoyance)

Thanks for any info you guys can give to reassure this old Luddite about Real Player

If you prefer Windows Media Player, listen to Air America at http://www.wlib.com

2. I haven't had any major problems with RealPlayer all these years, but...
...then I've been using a Mac since forever. Wonder if it's the PC and not the Mac that's the problem....

4. Really, you had problems? I've been using RealPlayer and variants since 97
and I've never, ever, had any kind of problem with it doing anything to my computer, whether plain old realplayer, or reaplayer jukebvox which I've used for years.

But, then again, I'm a computer expert type person, so maybe that makes a difference, but I don't think so, since I've never had to do anything weird with realplayer to get it to work or to fix a computer fater installing it. It's always worked perfectly for me, and I love it.

5. Realplayer is horrid.
Chock full o' spyware, and I swear, it would try to become your "default" TOILET PAPER if it could!

7. Update to Windows 2000
I use an older Dell (333 mHz) with Win2k; I have much better stability than I did with Win98 SE. Your computer will work better if you update.
