Lucy's Table -- they always have delicious food and the service is very attentive. Good atmosphere. http://www.lucystable.com/

Higgins -- Owner/chef Greg Higgins has been huge in the local food movement and it shows on his menu. http://higginsportland.com/

Wildwood -- Delicious Northwest cuisine. http://wildwoodrestaurant.com/

Portland City Grill -- The food is pretty good but the view is spectacular: http://portlandcitygrill.com/page/home

Pok Pok -- Great Asian food -- http://www.pokpokpdx.com/home/ ... Also Saucebox for delicious Pan-Asian. http://www.saucebox.com/

Serrato for delicious Italian/Mediterranean: http://www.serratto.com/

There are great hubs of restaurants on the NW 21st-23rd St. area, North Albina/Mississippi Streets, SE 28th St., SE Clinton St.

Also -- try our amazing food carts! http://www.foodcartsportland.com/maps/

2. Dalo's Kitchen
It's a little hard to find on North Vancouver, but it's worth it. Ethiopian cuisine prepared by real Ethiopians. Many vegetarian choices, as well as flavorful meat dishes. Might as well go for the buffet, and try a sample of several different preparations.
