A nice hearty meal. Would be even better on a winter night.

1. My dear applegrove!
I baked an russet potato, along with about a pound of salmon filet...

Simmered some corn...

We were hungry, and it tasted grand!

I love me some clam chowder! I've never had ciabatta bread.

:hi:

2. Ciabatta bread is a crusty italian loaf that is kinda flat. Lots of holes in the dough. If you like
the crust on bread you'll love ciabatta.

4. We've hand sandwiches a few times this summer. Lobster salad sandwiches were the most appreciated
ones I think. Yes. It is nice to eat cold on a summer's night.

7. Grilled pork chunks, cole slaw, corn, and watermelon from the garden.
Melon was a little bland, probably should have left it on the vine a few more days. We are not very experienced with them.

I had stir fried tofu in spicy sauce and vegetable chow mein and an egg roll and some of her krab rangoon (krab with a "k" lol).

It was pretty good.

11. Fresh Wild Caught Shrimp (with the heads), seared tuna, and......
Caprese salad with arugula, homemade Mozzarella, Cherokee Purple Tomatoes and Basil from my garden, Baguettes, Cauliflower.

For sauces, a homemade tarragon mayonnaise and good old Heinz Ketchup-based cocktail sauce.

My 5 yo daughter, usually a shrimp eater, did not like the heads-on shrimp and had some turkey cold cuts.

20. Chicken burrito
I love a good chicken burrito, with the works. I have to go easy on the sour cream, but love the rest. Just fill it up. We have ones out here the size of wood burning logs! Just cut them into thirds and you have enough for three days! Yum.
