12. Rush is the best band on that bill

by a country mile. I don' think it's even that odd a ticket - KISS is just regular rock with a lot of make-up and the James Gang were a straight rock band with no make-up (that I am aware of) and back then Rush were still just trying to be the next Led Zeppelin so they were pretty much straight up rock too. They were still a couple albums away from the Progressive gods they are now.

I would have paid my 5 bucks for Rush and I would have stayed for Joe Walsh and then laughed at Kiss a little and gone home.
