I need a good reason to not share a desk at work

Just saying I don't want to isn't a good enough reason (even though I've worked here for more than 12 years and I think I've earned my own desk.)

Anyone know of any place to find statistics that prove there are increased sick days when people use the same keyboard and phone or any other good reasons?

1. Tell the boss you're taking part in a classified study of infectious diseases...

and that you've been injected with either a highly infectious airborne flesh eating disease, or a placebo. Then tell the co-worker the same thing.

3. Funny thing is

there is one guy that I've heard they aren't going to make share because he's really a slob and he smells bad. The BO has kind of worked it's way into the chair and cubicle walls.

I don't think I want my own desk that bad.

4. Go on a 24x7 baked beans diet for a few weeks. It won't hurt you, but you'll get your own desk.
