2. these beasts hadn't been tended to in about 10 years
and the thorns that got me were about an inch long. four GOOD scratches down the left leg (i backed into one of the stub branches i left on bush number two). bled really nicely...looked like i had been attacked by Freddy Kruger!

3. I was once told that roses like blood, helps cut roses stay "fresh" longer.

5. Rose bushes are dangerous.

When I was about 2 years old, I fell into a rose bush. I still have a scar on my cheek from those vampires.

8. the big cut just MIGHT leave a scar
I love roses...but these things were(are) out of control. And to top it off...now they have tasted blood...that can't be good!
