This is unacceptable. It should be 74 at the hottest part of a day, not well after dark. Can someone please fix this?

1. I am in Houston, it will be 100 again.
It just cools down to the 70's at night.

It isn't so humid right now, so the 100 isn't so bad.

Please send rain.

3. Ive been following the heat wave
Of all the weather that can happen, that is the worst, in my opinion. I would rather be drenched to the point hills start sliding down, or iced to the point the power goes away and frostbite in your own bed becomes a realistic possibility. I respect the dangers of most weather, but it does not bother me much. Except heat. My brain slows down, My ability to do physical work drops as I quickly overheat with even mild exertion.

With all due respect to those of you who do, I chose not to live in Texas or any of its adjoining or similarly southern or warmly inclined states for a reason(More than one, but heat is high on the list). I believe that I would rather be homeless in the tundra than rich in the tropics.

I like the cool side of temperate. If every day had a high between 62 and 67, and the nights dropped 10 to 20 from that, I would be in heaven. And this part of Oregon is supposed to be temperate. Upper 80s/lower90's for several weeks straight is not what I signed on for. In the face of all the hundred plus stuff yall are experience, that may sound weak. So be it. I am still heartily sick of it.

Where are you?

When it finally starts getting around the low-mid seventies here at night. we are grateful and open a window for a few minutes for the fresh air.

Haven't seen anything north of 82 since late April it seems.

6. I got all I wanted of it
back before I lived here. In reality this is not that bad.

I dont want to be used to it. I like living in a place where natives are referred to as webfeet and rain is the main form of weather.

7. It should have cooled off for you by now...
Here outside Seattle, where the temperature was in the upper 80s for days, it's currently overcast and 61.
