Happy Harvest Moon y'all, it is big and beautiful.
Not a cloud in the sky, the moon just looks like it is hanging there.

This will be the first year I haven't been on the farm to see the harvest moon in a long time.

It is still the same harvest moon.

1. It was cool. The sun was setting in a lovely red in the west and the moon was coming up...
in the east at the same time.

4. I worked in the garden tonight.
The garden did welll considering the weather.

Wish I was walking down the road to the meadow now and seeing the countryside.

Not so safe with the fires now.

7. It is something to see.
A harvest moon really lights up the land at night.

The scene will not be the same now, not for many years.

Takes time to grow trees.

No wildlife making night noises either.

I had a great spot to camp out for the night.

Good times.

First the beach house and now the farm.

The house is still safe yet, it was made from rock and a new metal roof.

There is a beautiful supernova tonight too. In IN, it's in the northeastern sky -- clearly visible, even with that moon.
