About that AT&T commercial with the lovely wife in the greenhouse ...
She's got a freakin' GREENHOUSE!!!! And she obviously doesn't have to work for a living. So why is she so worried about the damn cell phone plan??

She's a real peach, that one.

That is all.

1. What I can't figure out is...
Whatever possessed that poor dude to marry her in the first place?

11. To loosely paraphrase Top Gun...
At this point I'd settle for a girl that'll talk dirty to me!

3. Count the number of commercials that feature wives as castrating bitches.
I think it's a current trend.

6. It's easy comedic material
Even ad people go for the low hanging fruit first.

10. It's a well worn path, much like the ignorant, bumbling husband
The Simpsons, the Honeymooners, Family Guy, Married With Children, etc., etc.

24. Being comedy, I don't so much find it offensive as I'm just tired of it.
It was a funny concept long, long ago, but it's been worn SO thin.

17. Lovely wife.

Maybe she was just pissed off because her garden club trashed one of her plants.

She did seem to have a lot in the green house.

She seems really into gardening.

Maybe she is growing something in the green house she doesn't want her husband to see.

19. She makes more money growing than he does working.
She doesn't want him to know, 'cause he's a traditional sort of guy.

21. It is said that we sometimes marry someone like one of our parents
And the look of hurt on the poor guy's face, makes me think he desires her approval. What pisses me off about her is that she thinks back to when she married this guy and that she should've married someone else. The guy deserves better.

23. That's what pisses me off most about this commercial
plus, that she thinks she'd be better off listening to her mother about making a love choice.
